The outline is like a road map. We knew where we started, of course, and we knew pretty much where we want the story to go. Our problem came from not having a road map to show us how to get from here to there.

...we decided to change direction with respect to our main characters. We thought we had a good idea, but as the story developed, we all began to like different people. The bad-asses began to take a back seat to the nerds, geeks and punks. We actually started to pull for the underdogs.
